Who are the Chondours?

Chondours are bellwethers gone bad and are similar to demons. They hunt in the darkness, bring shadows to life, and can steal your soul. When a Chondour is around, the darkness is awake and alive.

These terrible beings live in Thunderstone, a realm that exists within storms. Foggy nights and misty days can be dangerous and can serve as doorways into their realm. You might just get lost and find yourself in the heart of the chondours' home.

One way to tell when a chondour is nearby is to pay close attention to the scents in the air. If you catch a whiff of rotten eggs or a sulfur-like scent, you better run.

Chondours also have the ability to inhabit people's bodies and control the minds of individuals and crowds. You never know who is under a chondour's influence, so take heed.

Myths & Legends

Chondours sometimes get mistaken as the Angel of Death and his team of harvesters, which we know as Grimm Reapers. The harvesters do not like being associated with Chondours because their job is not to harm people but to help them cross over to the other side.

Sometimes, when a chondour tries to steal a person's soul, one or more harvester might battle the chondour to try and save that person's life, or at least give the individual a fighting chance to transition to the other side safely.
